The Ventura County district attorney charged actress Heather Locklear with four misdemeanors for last month's domestic violence incident in California, where she allegedly threatened to shoot responding police.

A lawyer is expected to appear on Locklear's behalf at her first court hearing in Ventura County Superior Court Tuesday morning. Her brother reportedly dialed 911 after a fight between the 51-year-old actress and her boyfriend escalated.
The 56-year-old actress was charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting or obstructing a police officer stemming from a fight she had with her boyfriend February 25, Chris Heisser.
