You'd be insane to bet against her, and Winx has yet again backed up her now incredibly short odds by taking out the Chipping Norton Stakes for a 23rd consecutive win and an Australian record 16th Group 1 race.
The world's best horse on turf posted her 16th victory at racing's elite level to make it 23 consecutive wins.
She missed the start but it was of no effect as she ran down the field easily and grace in the final stretch to take out the record.
The 23rd straight win puts Winx just two wins shy of equaling Black Caviar who still holds the winning streak record at 25.More news: Powerful Nor'easter morphs in 'bomb cyclone': Photos, here

Never getting out of second gear, Winx ($1.09) ambled to the lead at the 300m before pulling right away to score by seven lengths. "She does it so easy - she looks like she could go around again".
"You don't have to say too much when she comes out and does that", Tighe said.
As comfortable as her 23rd consecutive was, for her trainer Chris Waller it was still an emotional return after he and the mare's owners opted to miss her autumn lead-up run in the Apollo Stakes when Bowman was suspended.

"She was very strong this morning".
While she was in a different realm from her opposition, Glyn Schofield was happy with the performance of dual Group One victor Prized Icon.
He said Winx had captured the imagination of Australia and had "come back so well".
"To see her come back like this is pretty special", Waller said. And she's better now than she was when she was a 4-year-old.
Bowman added: "She has been filling me with confidence all preparation".More news: Mourners to say goodbye to Billy Graham, 'America's Pastor'
