A Pakistani civilian was martyred when Indian forces targeted a school children van in Battal Sector along the Line of Control, Inter Services Public Relations said.
He also urged the Indian side to allow the UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to play its mandated role as per the UN Security Council resolutions. The students started screaming as there was no one present after which local residents came to their assistance.

The incident took place when they were on their way from Daramsal to Battal, the statement added.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned targeting of the school van by Indian forces across the Line of Control.

Pakistan Foreign Office claimed there were 335 ceasefire violations from the Indian side since January 2018.
It may be mentioned here that the Pakistani Army on Wednesday violated the 2003 ceasefire in Nowshera sector of LoC in Rajouri district when around 7 pm, the Pakistan Army using small arms, automatics and mortars, fired at Indian positions.
