Netanyahu had called Modi's "historic visit" a "very significant step" in strengthening bilateral relations that are on a "constant upswing".
Both Modi and Netanyahu will visit two centres of excellency in Ahmedabad and inaugurate one.
Modi will also join Netanyahu during a visit to a Center of Excellence for Vegetables at Vadrad in Gujarat. He said the Indian prime minister will host Netanyahu in his home state and termed it as an "important gesture".
