But now her close pal King has claimed the star isn't actively looking to enter politics, although the idea of becoming president has piqued her interest. "I mean, she's popular, she's brilliant, she's a wonderful woman".
The press secretary added: "Is she a successful individual?"
"It's clear you don't need government experience to be elected president of the United States", she said. I don't think she's going to run. "I do think this, though". It's not surprising Oprah's stirring Golden Globes Awards show speech has stirred speculation about her running for president. So she knew that she wanted to say something significant.
