In a video unearthed by NY magazine, Matthews can be seen making a few inappropriate - and sexist - jokes about then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ahead of a January 5, 2016, interview.
MSNBC's Chris Matthews really stepped in it this time.
In it, Matthews first asks for "some of the Queen's waters, precious waters", mocking Clinton.
Then, as he waits for his drink, says, "Where's that Bill Cosby pill I brought with me?".More news: CES 2018: Google announces Assistant for Smart Displays, Android Auto and more

The pervy joke was caught on camera and first revealed by NY magazine's "The Cut".
"This was a awful comment I made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines", Matthews told The Cut.

During the interview that followed, Matthews asked Clinton about her husband's infidelity and asked her whether it was "culturally" important for women to be allowed into military combat roles. Matthews has been criticized before for making disparging remarks about Clinton, including calling her a "she-devil" and "anti-male". Matthews said to a crew member.
