Hilary Dusome and Natalie Chmiel told the paper that when Franco approached them to film some scenes, he told the aspiring actors that the footage would be used in a 7 For All Mankind commercial.
Franco's attorney, Michael Plonsker, denied the allegations and pointed to comments made by Franco earlier this week, according to the Times.
Another accuser, Violet Paley, told The Times she met Franco in early 2016 when he agreed to give her notes on her script. Paley alleges Franco pressured her to perform oral sex on him when they were in a vehicle: "I was talking to him, [and] all of a sudden his penis was out", Paley said.
More than a dozen former students told The Times in interviews that they had a positive experience at Studio 4 [. and] were shocked by the school's sudden closure last fall, and did not know why it had shuttered. Some may find Tither-Kaplan's allegations extremely disturbing.
"You're not curious enough to reach out to her, as someone that you've had a good relationship with before to try to understand why she would have done that?" he asked, to which James replied: "I don't know, it was just so shocking, I don't know".
The 23-year-old is now facing backlash for an old tweet she wrote that read: "I like planning ways to ruin someone's life the moment I meet them". "It's such bulls-t", she said.
"I'm fine most of the time, but sometimes I'm regretful and wish I hadn't said anything". "I feel disgusting that anyone was made to feel uncomfortable but we went to great lengths to make sure all the actresses in the nude scenes felt comfortable and safe".
Tither-Kaplan also told the Times that anyone who balked or said no to the actor's demands was quickly removed from participating in Franco's productions.
