Though, a lot of people are speculationg Lucasfilms will release Star Wars: Rivals as an animated show. From Darth Vader to Captain Phasma, there's a mix of characters old and new. The game seems to have been built on the same pay-to-win system that now plagues Star Wars Battlefront 2 game, but if you haven't played it yet, here's how Star Wars: Rivals will work. Master special abilities unique to the Star Wars universe like Darth Vaders Choke and Admiral Ackbars devastating Orbital Strike. You'll also form factions like the Rebellion, Empire, First Order, or Underworld to gain bonuses like increase damage or faster health regeneration. Since the game supports cross-platform play, we have a feeling that this could lead to some fun battles. So, you can compete in PvP arenas by challenging players cross-platform in real-time combat. Early registration gets Android users access to Death Troopers, the elite fighters in black armor from Rogue One.
