A week after the numbers were drawn in the $451 million Mega Millions, the sole victor of the jackpot is stepping forward, and he's originally from Maine.
Shane Missler, of Port Richey, was the lone victor of the January 5 jackpot.
Missler came forward on Friday to claim the lone winning ticket in the second largest jackpot won by a single ticket, according to the Florida Lottery. He later told his father the following morning over a coffee.

"I'm only 20, but I hope to use [the money] to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity", Missler said, ABC News reported.
So when the numbers 28, 30, 39, 59, 70 and the Mega Ball, 10, were announced, Missler said he simply placed a call to share the news with his brother.
"Although I'm young I've had a crash course this week in financial management and I feel so fortunate to have this incredible wealth and team behind me".

There was only one Mega Millions ticket sold that won a jackpot worth $450 million.
"If there is one thing I have learned thus far in my short time on this earth it is that those who maintain a positive mindset and stay true to themselves get rewarded", he said.
The ticket was bought at the 7-11 Eleven at 7131 Ridge Rd.in Port Richey, which is is northwest of Tampa in Pasco County.More news: Zac Brown Band to play Blossom Music Center this summer
