Subaru has released teaser images of a performance-orientated STi version of last year's VIZIV Performance concept vehicle. It gave us a preview of things to come from the Japanese automaker, especially with hints of it becoming the next-generation Impreza.

Hopefully, we'll find out more when the VIZIV Performance STI Concept makes its official debut. Noticably, the front bumper of the STI concept has been revised, giving it more aggressive look. It also sports red accents and copious amounts of STI logos plastered all over the body to remind you that this is the hot version of the WRX.
Apart from the exterior photos no detail have yet been released by Subaru regarding the Viziv Performance STI concept. Winglets can also be seen protruding from the sides of the rear wing, presumably to improve the airflow. It's likely that the concept will offer a glimpse of what a new WRX STi production vehicle could look like. With the way emissions regulations are going these days, a 48V mild hybrid would have to be the very minimum requirement to allow Subaru to market these new models on a global basis.More news: Taoiseach concerned that abortion proposals 'go too far'

Last year's VIZIV concept retained a "boxer" engine and four-wheel drive, so it's likely that the STi version will too.More news: How to Redeem Beta Codes from GameStop & Amazon — Dragon Ball FighterZ
