ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa reportedly said the ANC was aware of discussions between Zuma and Ramaphosa about "how to we ensure Luthuli House remains a centre of power without undermining the office of the president of the republic", but said he knew nothing of Zuma's reported conditions. "They are paying tribute to the father of our young democracy", he said.
"In keeping with the request of the ANC top six leadership during their visit to the Qunu homestead to visit the gravesite of President Mandela, the family has agreed to observe the protocol and traditions and therefore will go to Nkosi Dalibhunga's [Madiba's praise name] resting place and inform him and the ancestors of the visit of the entire ANC leadership that will take place on the 11th February 2018 which will be hosted by the family in Qunu".

He added that a cow also needed to be slaughtered in order to cleanse the leaders following their visit.

New ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the party's January 8 statement in the coastal city on Saturday.
She said that if Ramaphosa was truly serious about rooting out corruption‚ Zuma would no longer be the president of South Africa.
