McLachlan's reps as well as producers for The Rocky Horror Show said they were unable to provide comment about the situation at the time they were contacted by Yahoo7.
The company also said it was shocked to learn of allegations and that it received no formal or informal complaints at the time of the 2014 production.
'As the investigation is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to make any further comment'.
"Frankly, they seem to be simple inventions, perhaps made for financial reasons, perhaps to gain notoriety", he wrote in response to allegations published by the Australian Broadcasting Corp.
Ford also said in a subsequent tweet that legal representatives are determining if McLachlan will be entitled to a payout. Erika Heynatz and Angela Scundi allege that the veteran television and theatre star harassed a number of actresses in the show, touching their genitals, groping their breasts, exposing himself and pressing his penis against them.

McLachlan is the latest high-profile man in the entertainment and media industry to be accused following the Harvey Weinstein scandal in the US.
They also claim that the production crew witnessed McLachlan acting inappropriately but failed to intervene.
Heynatz, who played Magenta, said she was forcibly kissed by the actor, while Scundi, a chorus member, said she was the subject of unwanted sexual advances.
Christie Whelan Browne, who performed in the lead role of Janet in the 2014 production, also alleged she was indecently assaulted during the live show, claiming McLachlan would go off-script during a sex scene. When Scundi told McLachlan never to kiss her like that again, he verbally abused her and threatened her.
"One night when he turned me around, he pulled my undies up so my bum cheek was out and he was kissing my bum", Whelan Browne alleges.

'He was just a different person.
"Craig grabbed my hand and said to me, "Every day I am falling more and more in love with you".
"You are nothing! Don't you dare talk to me like that. I will end you".
"In that moment, I believed him", Scundi told Fairfax.
In a detailed, sometimes graphic report, Fairfax reporter Kate McClymont outlined the allegations the women have made against McLachlan. "Furthermore no-one at GFO recalls any verbal discussion of this nature", the company stated. "It would be distressing to us if anyone within our company was dismissive of sexual assault allegations, and this will form a part of our internal investigation".
